INTRODUCTION TO TELECOMMUNICATION position OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO The Telecommunications office staff of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) was established in July 2004 by the Telecommunications Act 2001 revise by 17 of 2004 as an independent regulatory system whose responsibility is for the transformation of the telecommunications gossamer sphere from a monopoly to a competitive environment.
